This recipe is an excellent side dish for any protein, very simple to prepare and represents a delicious blend of flavors.

100 gr grated potato
100 gr grated butter chayote
1 teaspoon of coconut oil or other oil of your preference
salt and pepper to taste
Grate the potato and chayote. Remove excess liquid with a paper towel, place it on top and press.
Mix the potato and chayote.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and coat the skillet well with it.
Place the potato and chayote in the skillet, spread it throughout the skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Flip the mixture and cook on the other side, leave in the skillet for 5 minutes or until golden and crispy. Serve
