For those who haven’t tried chia seeds, this is a great way to use them. Plus, this recipe is perfect for snacks or as part of lunch. Very simple to make.

Grams of fat: 3 gr. equivalent to half a fat serving
Grams of carbohydrates: 19 gr. equivalent to 1 carbohydrate/fruit serving
Grams of protein: 3 gr. equivalent to half a protein serving.

200 gr. of watermelon (approximately 2 cups)
1 tablespoon of chia seeds (12 gr)
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of honey
a pinch of salt
10 ice cubes
Place the watermelon, chia seeds, lemon juice, honey, and salt in a blender.
Blend for a few seconds until everything is mixed and has a smooth texture.
Add the ice cubes and blend until you reach the desired consistency.
Serve.
